Eating for Earth SLC

Register here for the event on Wednesday, April 21st at 6pm: The Ecological Impacts of Cattle Ranching in the West + Plant-Powered Cooking Demo: http://bit.ly/efeslc

Hey SLC! Follow this event to learn more about the ways our food choices impact our planet, and simple ways we can all take action!

Many studies show that eating more plant-based foods is the single most impactful thing individuals can do on a daily basis to lower our environmental footprint.

During the week leading up to Earth week we'll share information and resources on lowering our diet-related environmental footprint.

Some things to look forward to:
- Information on the environmental impacts of food production and our food choices
- Recipes and resources for making your meals more plant-rich
- Upcoming virtual events related to food and sustainability
- Information on local groups and resources
+ more!

To cap everything off, join us on Wednesday, April 21st at 6pm for a virtual conversation with Erik Molvar, Executive Director of the Western Watersheds Project (WWP). Erik will be talking with us about the ecological impacts of cattle ranching on public lands in the Western U.S.

Following our discussion, enjoy a fun cooking demo with plant-based chef Sharon Bates! Sharon will walk us through a simple and delicious plant-based meal that you can swap into your routine any day of the week.

Presented by Factory Farming Awareness Coalition and Salt Lake Thrive.
