FFAC Talk & Discussion on Effective Activism

Reaching New Heights: How We Can Communicate Our Message to Increase Effectiveness

Any way you cut it, factory farming is bad - for animals, the environment, workers, and public health. But traditionally discussion of animal agriculture has been relegated to the domain of animal rights, which alienates many potential supporters. In addition, sometimes feelings of anger and overwhelm can keep us from taking action or being heard.

Join the Executive Director of the Factory Farming Awareness Coalition, Katie Cantrell, and FFAC's new LA Director, Nora Kramer, for a discussion about how we can reach new audiences and build powerful coalitions through broadening our message, as well as harnessing our emotions to communicate our message effectively. We will include small group discussions that will help each person move forward in their advocacy.

This event is co-sponsored by the Animal Advocacy Museum

Get food from Doomie's Home Cookin and bring it over to the Blue Rose for the talk & discussion!
