We began with fact-based, digestible presentations connecting the various impacts of factory farming and quickly realized the broader potential of inspiring our audiences beyond their individual diet choices. In addition to equipping people with the understanding necessary to make sustainable, humane decisions on an individual level, our presentations also serve as the initial lever toward impacts in institutional arenas that we would not otherwise have access to. School administrators or company management who might not seriously consider the requests of an outside group such as FFAC, do listen when their students or employees demand change.
We mobilize energized individuals and groups to create institutional change in a variety of ways, including: getting plant-based options into cafeterias, including plant-based foods into existing sustainability initiatives, and working with municipalities to adopt green initiatives.
Green Monday US is a simple platform that equips organizations and individuals to introduce and institutionalize environmentally-friendly, plant-based food options one day per week. Learn more here.
